Lozeau always strives to give its customers the best possible service and places the utmost importance on after-sale customer service. If your equipment breaks down or malfunctions, our customer service representatives will be on hand to guide you through the repair process, even if the item is no longer under warranty.

Please note that in order to serve you better, we rely on the best repair centres to take care of your equipment. No repairs are made in store and we have no repair technicians on our premises.

FAQ

What happens if my merchandise is still under warranty?

Lozeau will send your merchandise to the manufacturer's customer service counter or repair centre. We only honour warranties on products purchased at Lozeau. All products bought elsewhere will be subject to regular estimate and repair costs.

Any evidence of exterior damage may void your warranty. Such damage includes sand or water damage, visible impact damage, bent memory card slot contact, broken memory card or battery slot door, damaged LCD screen, etc.

Lozeau reserves the right to refuse to send items with exterior damage to a repair centre to have the damages covered under the warranty. In such cases the customer must pay the regular estimate costs.

How much does a repair estimate cost?

Estimation costs vary depending on the item and manufacturer. Our customer service representatives can provide precise information when you come to the store.

How long does it take on average to make a repair?

We cannot provide an exact timeframe, but it usually takes 2 to 8 weeks to complete a repair. Repair time may be longer depending on the availability of parts.

Can Lozeau repair all product makes and models?

No, we only repair models of brands we carry in store. We also cannot repair items for other reasons, for example, if they are too old or too damaged.

Will the estimation cost I paid be deducted from the repair cost?

If you purchased the product from Lozeau and have proof of purchase, the estimation cost will be deducted from the total cost of the repair. Certain products and services have fixed rates for repairs that are non-refundable. For more information, please ask one of our customer service clerks.

Does my repair include a warranty?

Yes. The 3-month warranty period begins when the product is returned to the store.

How much time do I have to pick up my repaired device?

You must pick up the item within 90 days.  We will send you reminders throughout this time.  If you move or change your telephone number while the repair is being carried out, it is your responsibility to notify our service department as soon as possible.  We are not liable for items left in the store for more than 90 days. 

Where do I bring items for repair?

Bring them to the customer service counter in our store on St-Hubert Street at the corner of Bellechasse. Our address is 6229 St-Hubert Street, Montreal, Quebec.

Exclusion clause

Customer acknowledges that under the repair agreement or as part of the examination of the product performed by Lozeau at Customer’s request, Lozeau will handle the device to determine the problem and/or perform the repair. Customer acknowledges that this handling of the device may cause damage to a part or portion thereof, damage that Lozeau could not foresee at the at the time of entering into the agreement, damage which occurs incidentally in the context of repair and which is beyond the control of Lozeau. It is understood that this exclusion of liability on the part of Lozeau only covers damage caused without any intentional or gross fault committed by Lozeau.


In the event of any discrepancies between the English and French versions of this policy, the French version shall prevail.
