Monitor calibration is an important and often overlooked aspect when printing from digital files and the method we propose here is a first step to solve this problem.

Here’s how to proceed:
Step 1:
Using your screen menu, select the following values

  • Color profile: sRGB

  • Color temperature: 6500K (d65)

  • Contrast: 100%

  • Brightness: 30% to 40%

Step 2

  • Adjust the colors so that the colors of this picture on the screen are as close as possible to those in the sample that you can get for free at the photo finishing counter.

Nonetheless, please note that your file will lose some of its brightness once printed on paper compared to the image seen your computer screen. For more information, do not hesitate to contact one of our advisors in store.
